Holocaust Services Supervisor

The Holocaust Services Program (HSP) Supervisor will be responsible for direct supervision of case management staff and coordination of the intake process.  Duties include: oversight of all aspects of case management activities; orientation and onboarding of new case management staff; clinical supervision; chart and progress notes reviews.  

QUALIFICATIONS:                                 

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, gerontology, sociology, or rehabilitation.
  • Minimum two years of experience working directly with frail older adults
  • Demonstrated expertise and ability as a case manager required, as evidenced by experience in successfully carrying out these job duties.
  • Ability to supervise and train professionals and implement complex regulations with attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise strong clinical judgment and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of community resources and issues of aging
  • Experience in care management and community-based service delivery with older adults
  • Knowledge of safety issues when working with at-risk clients
  • Russian language preferred
  • Must be computer literate in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Candidates must have interest and demonstrated ability to:

  • Must pass a criminal background check (Live Scan fingerprinting) prior to beginning employment

 RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Supervision of all case management activities, including assessment, care planning, and interventions
  • Monitoring of caseloads to ensure client safety and program compliance
  • Assignment of cases to case managers
  • Clinical supervision
  • Crisis Intervention as needed
  • Supervision of student interns as needed
  • Implementation of Claims Conference documentation requirements
  • Coordinate as needed with other JFS programs and / or with Managed Health Care Plans around care coordination and client data exchange
  • Responsible for quality assurance of the Holocaust program, including ongoing review of electronic records and client charts, to ensure documents are in compliance with Claims Conference regulations
  • Participation in program management and policy-making
  • Other related duties as assigned.
